"Pharmor" silage inoculant is different to other inoculants - It has been developed with the specific aim of making the feed value of silage as close to fresh grass as possible. We all know that animals fed silage never perform as well as those fed on fresh grass, hence the need to feed extra protein with silage over the winter.

An independent test undertaken by Raymond Jones at the institute of grassland and environmental research institutes (IGER) and Dr. Sinclair Mayne at Hillsborough Agricultural research institute showed that "Pharmor" raised milk yields by an incredible 2 ¼ litres per cow per day. It also increased the yield of protein plus fat in the milk by 17%.

At the same time "Pharmor" increased liveweight gain in beef animals by an incredible 86% which is possibly the largest percentage increase in live weight gain ever achieved by a silage inoculant.
